Manicure Monday: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Review Update

Hello everyone :)

A week has past since I put the Miracle Gel Nail Polish from Sally Hansen on my nails
and today I am here with my update.

My thoughts of the Miracle Gel Nail Polish:
- I really like all the different colours you can choose from
- I am absolutely in love with the thick brush
- The application was easy and quick
- The nail polish really does last a long time

As I said it has been a week and my nails still look great, here is my proof:

Other nail polishes usually start peeling of in the front after a couple of days (3-5 depending on the nail polish). So far, this wasn't the case yet with the Miracle Gel and I am very impressed!

Originally I wanted to keep the nails on for the whole two weeks to see if it actually holds as promised, but because my nails grow really fast I feel the need to put on a new polish. And to be quite honest I got slightly bored and am ready for something new :) I'm terrible I know!!

How did you like your Miracle Gel Polish?
And if you haven't tried them yet will you?

As always if you have any questions or feedback feel free to leave them in the comments :)

Friday Favorites: Walmart Slippers

Wuhuu it's FRIDAY!!

That means it's time for my Friday Favorites.
Since Fall is upon us I though this would be a great time to go for a cozy favorite :)
I personally think there is nothing better than to have your feed in fluffy, cozy and warm slippers, don't you agree? I just recently bought these slippers in Walmart and I am absolutely in love with them!

The material on the inside is very soft, keeps your feet warm and overall just feels very good on.
There is anti-slip material on the bottom and a cute little bow on top :)

Now in Walmart there where quite a few different slippers but I liked this one the best.
The colour, the fit and the feel convinced me and for 5 Dollars the price is pretty awesome as well!

If you like to cuddle up with nice and comfy slippers these are a must!

Have a great Friday and keep warm :)

Manicure Monday: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Review

Hello everyone :)

Today's post will be my first review ever!! I hope you like it :)

I believe the first commercial I saw for the new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel was on Instagram. With a couple of people writing in the comments how good the polish is. I got very curious and decided to try them out myself. In the commercial it says the polish should stay on your nails for two weeks.
I will definitely keep you posted on that!

Apply one or two coats of the colour as you would any other.
I choose Malibu Peach but there are many gorgeous colour you can pick.

First coat

Second coat

Then instead of using your normal top coat, use the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel top coat and you are already done!

Friday Favorites: COVERGIRL Jumbo Gloss Balm Blush Twist

A very big welcome to my new post series!
Friday Favorites blog post can be about pretty much anything, the first one is my
COVERGIRL Lipperfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in the colour Blush Twist (210).

The colour is a gorgeous light pink and on my lips you can really tell much of a difference.
That's why I love this balm so much. It's perfect for the day when you want to put something on your lips but it shouldn't be too noticeable.

Do you like this kind of post? Or do you have any suggestions or feedback for my blog?
Please let me now in the comment!
I would love to hear from you :)

Sunday Funday: The Terry Fox Run

Happy Sunday everybody!!

I am very proud of what I accomplished today and I hope I can inspire you to do something similar :)  I did the Terry Fox Run and I donated money for Cancer Research. If you don't know what the Terry Fox Run is, here a small description:

Terry Fox (Terrance Stanley Fox) was born on July 28, 1958 in Canada. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 1977 and his right leg was amputated the same year. He used an artificial leg to keep walking and running. In 1980 he began the Marathon of Hope, a cross-country run to raise money and awareness for cancer research. The spread of cancer eventually forced him to end his run after 143 days and 5'373 kilometres (3'339 mi). Although he died shortly after he left a worldwide legacy and the annual Terry Fox Run was born. The first run was held in 1981 and today there are millions of runners in over 60 countries. There has been over 600 Million Dollars raised in his name.

So basically what you do is, you show up at the start of the run. There you can/should donate as much money as you would like. Then you go on the run (usually between 5 and 15 kilometres, the one I did was 10 kilometres) and you can either walk or run the distance. On the way there are small stand where they give you food and something to drink. When you reach the end you get a piece of paper where you can write your name down and put a sticker on it (there is a different sticker every year).

What I hope to achieve with this post is simple, I would like you to go out there any do something good. It doesn't need to be a big or expensive thing that you do, just go out there and do it!
Because even a little bit of kindness goes a long way!

I hope you have a good and healthy week :)
See you tomorrow for ManicureMonday!

Manicure Monday: Bee Nails

Hello :)

This weeks #ManicureMonday is completely inspired by summer.
Seeing alot of bees around the garden gave me the idea to make bee nails. There are a lot of very cool but also kinda difficult bee designs out there so i decided to make an easy one, here it goes...

First I painted my nails yellow (two coats)

Then I added three stripes on both ring fingers for the body of the bee
and two dots on the leftover space for the base of the eyes
(I couldn't find my dotting tools that's why my dots look so uneven - ups sorry :))

Lastly I put two white dots into the black dots to finish the eyes

Then as always finish off with a top coat!

That was easy right?
If you decide to recreate this look, go out into the sun and rock your mani :)

Manicure Monday: How to Remove Glitter Polish

Hello :)

Last week I did the "Baby Blue Glitter Nail Design"
and today I will show you how you can easily remove it!

Trying to get your Glitter Polish off with only Nail Polish Remover and Cotton balls will take for ever and be very hurtful, at least it always is for me :)

So you obviously start with having Glitter Polish on your nails

It is very important that you don't have a Top Coat on your nails for this to work, so if you do, take that off first. Then soak a piece of cotton ball in polish remover and put it on your nail

Then wrap a piece of aluminium foil around your finger

Wait for 5 to 10 minutes and bevor removing it, move the foil and cotton ball from left to right. Just like you would normally take off your nail polish. When you remove it, there will probably still be some glitter left, but you can easily remove that with a cotton ball and polish remover

Let me know how this workes out for you! Have a great week :)
